  • Overview


    The Deskside Services Specialist provides daily first level support, helping service 500 to 600 workstations, across four locations, supporting various personal computer hardware and software products, telephone and voice mail services, networking and server services, plus participating on projects and service implementations.





    Primary responsibilities are the following;

    • Provide both remote and on-site support via a support help desk
    • Provide daily help desk support coverage
    • Install, move, repair and service Windows and Mac OSX based workstations and laptops
    • Install and troubleshoot software packages, such as Office 2016 and Adobe Creative Suite
    • Create, change, and delete staff network and email accounts
    • Install, move, or change staff telephones and voice mail
    • Help with managing (routine tasks) 365 and AD environment
    • Assist infrastructure team with first level support
    • Conduct asset (Inventory) management
    • Complete assigned tasks from various implementation projects
    • Any additional delegated assignments from ITS management




    Requirements for the position are the following;

    • 5 or more years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Office
    • 5 or more years of experience managing Active Directory ID’s and groups
    • 5 or more years of experience using an Incident or help desk management system
    • 5 or more years of experience supporting Ethernet infrastructure, e.g., IP4
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or less
    • Knowledge of Cisco telephone systems a plus
