  • Direct Social Management of Democracy &  Wit &Wisdom
  • Define the social voice of Democracy & Wit & Wisdom brands and be the brand online editor.
  • Develop and execute a clearly defined social media strategy which complies with the marketing and business initiatives of the company currently including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogs, Snapchat and Vine
  • Content curation, creation and editing (design, positioning, creative, copywriting, talent curation -- photographers, videographers, etc.)
  • Community outreach, influence and engagement
  • Work closely with paid social influencers / bloggers developing strategies to optimize performance on Facebook and Instagram, as well as drive sales to e-com partners.
  • Provide monthly recaps of social media growth, successes and fails.
  • Work closely with Design to capture content (visits with LA design team to create personal content and Fashion trends)
  • Oversee the production of quarterly photo shoots (E-com & Lifestyle)
  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • Graduated with 4 year degree with focus on Marketing or Journalism
  • 2+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience in a corporate marketing or agency marketing role.
  • 2+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience on all major social media platforms -- LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
  • Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Exceptional business writing skills and can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.
  • Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks' native web apps, 3rd party social media tools.
